Actor Chae Jong-hyeop has proven his status as a rising star by successfully wrapping up his fan meeting in Seoul.
The fan meeting, themed as an “exhibition” featuring Chae Jong-hyeop and his fans, caught everyone’s attention with its diverse program that captured moments from the past, present, and the future they will build together. Chae Jong-hyeop opened the show with a performance of “Falling Slowly,” greeting fans with a voice full of excitement and nerves. He then spent quality time getting closer to his fans through various segments, including behind-the-scenes stories from his recently concluded drama “In Your Radiant Season,” daily life talks, and a quiz time.
At the start of the second half, Chae Jong-hyeop surprised everyone by appearing right in the middle of the audience. He moved throughout the seating area to communicate closely with fans, showing off his immense love for them with his brightest smile. During the “Ask Me Anything” segment, he brought a joyful energy to the venue by doing his best with various challenge requests, even while feeling shy. He also drew cheers from the crowd as he became even more natural and skilled during the second session compared to the first.
Additionally, during the “Chae-kku” (Decorating Chae Jong-hyeop) session, he created unforgettable memories by wearing various items prepared by fans for a photo time. Although he had mentioned in the first session that he doesn’t cry, Chae Jong-hyeop couldn’t hold back his tears during a surprise event prepared by fans at the end of the second session, making the moment even more touching. He also expressed his sincerity to the fans by singing “In Your Spring,” an OST from the drama “In Your Radiant Season.”
Closing the event, Chae Jong-hyeop shared, “I’ve communicated with you while promoting and filming dramas, but today felt like it passed by the fastest. It’s a shame, but I’ll return next time with an even better, more familiar, and comfortable side of myself. I hope your seasons are always radiant.” He showed his special affection until the very end through a “Hi-Bye” session, personally seeing off every single audience member.
Having debuted in a web drama in 2016, Chae Jong-hyeop has been loved for his roles in “Come and Hug Me,” “Hot Stove League,” “Nevertheless,” “493km per Second to You,” “Shooting Stars,” “Unlock My Boss,” “See You in My 19th Life,” and “Diva of Moindo.” Most recently, he appeared in MBC’s “In Your Radiant Season.”
Chae Jong-hyeop is scheduled to meet his local fans at the Tokyo International Forum Hall A on May 23 at 6 PM and May 24 at 5 PM.
