[Exclusive] ‘Great Escape’ Ace Returns! Super Junior’s Shindong Joins ‘The Devil’s Plan 3’

According to an exclusive report from Star News on the 12th, Shindong has been confirmed to appear in the Netflix original series ‘The Devil’s Plan’ Season 3.

This appearance is particularly special for Shindong as it marks his first-ever project with Netflix. While he has appeared in numerous variety shows across terrestrial channels, cable networks, YouTube, and various OTT platforms, ‘The Devil’s Plan 3’ will be his first Netflix venture.

‘The Devil’s Plan’ is a brain game survival program directed by PD Jung Jong-yeon, the mastermind behind ‘The Genius’, ‘Society Game’, ‘Great Escape’, ‘Girls’ High Mystery Class’, and ‘Mystery Investigation Team’. Following the successful launches of Season 1 in September 2023 and Season 2 in May last year, Season 3 is scheduled to air in the second half of this year. Filming has already been completed.

Shindong built a special bond with PD Jung Jong-yeon by appearing in all four seasons of the tvN variety show ‘Great Escape’. Their close friendship was further highlighted by reports that Shindong strongly recommended fellow Super Junior member Kyuhyun as a contestant for ‘The Devil’s Plan 2’. Since PD Jung knows Shindong’s strategic brain play and survival skills better than anyone, fans are eagerly anticipating the synergy the two will create in ‘The Devil’s Plan 3’.
