Kim Sang-kyung is set to make a special appearance as Han Kyung-wook in the new MBC Friday-Saturday drama Fifties Professionals (directed by Han Dong-hwa and written by Jang Won-seop).
Han Kyung-wook was once a top-tier NIS black agent, a generation ahead of Jung Ho-myung (played by Shin Ha-kyun), who is known by the codename ‘Shadow.’ However, he is a man who became consumed by power and wealth, building a massive criminal network through illicit deals with North Korea. After entering politics as a two-term National Assembly member and running for Mayor of Imcheon, he aims to turn Yeongseondo into Asia’s largest island of pleasure and crime to seize even more power and wealth.
To bring this greed-driven politician to life, Kim Sang-kyung transformed his look with white hair, delivering an overwhelming presence.

Fifties Professionals is a gritty action comedy about three men who may look ordinary now but once held significant influence. Brought back into action by fate, these true professionals have lived through 50% of their lives; though they’ve been beaten down by the world and their bodies are rusty, their loyalty and instincts remain as sharp as ever. Starring Shin Ha-kyun, Oh Jung-se, and Heo Sung-tae, the series premieres on the 22nd at 9:50 PM.
