
Park Min-soo has brought his beautiful challenge on the competition program ‘Mumeong Jeonseol’ to a close.
By pouring his heart into a performance that proved his musical growth, Park Min-soo finished in 8th place, leaving a lasting impression with his soulful rendition of ‘Eung-eori’.
In the MBN episode of ‘Mumeong Jeonseol – Trot Men’s Hierarchy War’ (hereafter ‘Mumeong Jeonseol’) aired on the 13th, Park Min-soo took part in the second round of the finals, the ‘Life’s Masterpiece Mission’.
Ahead of the finals, Park Min-soo met with Min Su-hyeon and Kim Jung-yeon. The two stepped up as his reliable supporters, working hard to cheer him on and promote him.
Park Min-soo opened up to them about the realistic worries and hardships of being an unknown artist after being part of the ‘Burning Trotman’ TOP7. He confessed, “I thought there would only be a flower path after making the TOP7. I stayed busy with performances and radio, but as time passed, I felt like I had nothing left and felt small.”
He also shared his financial difficulties and doubts about his path as a singer, revealing that his father suggested he “prepare for the police civil service exam again” and that he was unable to pay his rent. Despite this, he expressed his deep longing, saying, “Even though I appeared as part of the ‘Famous’ team, I remember receiving love more than anyone else, which makes me even more desperate.”
For his stage, Park Min-soo chose ‘Eung-eori’ by Jung Ui-song. He shared his determination, saying, “Through ‘Mumeong Jeonseol,’ I realized how difficult and challenging singing can be. It was like a period of growing pains for me. I will pour out my longing and my desire to be loved by everyone on this stage.”
On stage, Park Min-soo captivated viewers with his sincere emotion and deepened vocal skills. His powerful performance, which seemed to release all his accumulated worries and feelings, left a deep lingering emotion and touched many hearts.
After the performance, Park Min-soo shared, “It was a great honor to be able to let my voice be heard on such a wonderful stage,” and became teary-eyed while looking at his family in the audience. He added a touching moment by telling his father, “I want you to be able to live the rest of your life benefiting from your son.”
Shin Yu praised him, saying, “He is such a bright, vitamin-like presence. My heart felt heavy because it seemed like he suffered a lot during ‘Mumeong Jeonseol,’ but seeing the final stage, it feels like he let all those pent-up emotions out. It’s clear that Park Min-soo has grown a step further through this performance.”
Finishing ‘Mumeong Jeonseol’ in 8th place, Park Min-soo left a strong impression on viewers with his growth and plans to continue active promotions and communicate with his fans.
