The Wind Celebrates 3rd Debut Anniversary! From Coin Karaoke Hits to a New Chapter [Q&A]

The Wind is marking a new chapter as they celebrate their 3rd debut anniversary!

The Wind (Kim Hee-soo, Tanaton, Choi Han-bin, Park Ha-yu-chan, Ahn Chan-won, and Jang Hyun-jun) debuted on May 15, 2023, with their first mini album ‘Beginning : The Wind Page’. Their track ‘Meet Again’ from the album even became a popular “ending song” at coin karaoke rooms!

Additionally, their second single ‘Only One Story’, released last March, achieved a career high by breaking their own album sales record. Recently, they have teased a new leap forward through a partnership with Pangstar Entertainment.

Here is a Q&A session regarding The Wind’s 3rd debut anniversary.

Q. How do you feel about your 3rd anniversary?

A. (Kim Hee-soo) I’m so touched and can’t believe we’ve built up so many moments with Wiz over the past three years.

A. (Tanaton) I still can’t believe three years have passed so quickly. I feel a bit sad that I haven’t been able to return all the love I’ve received from Wiz, but every moment has been precious and happy thanks to Wiz always being by my side.

A. (Park Ha-yu-chan) It’s surprising that it’s already been three years. Time flew by so fast that it doesn’t even feel real.

Q. What is the most memorable moment from the last three years?

A. (Choi Han-bin) Definitely the time spent on stage. I loved seeing the fans right in front of me, enjoying the music, and sharing happiness together.

A. (Ahn Chan-won) The promotions for ‘Nice to Meet You My First Love’, which gave us our first win, are the most memorable.

A. (Jang Hyun-jun) Every moment with Wiz is memorable, but the debut stage stands out the most. I was incredibly nervous, but I remember how Wiz looked at me cutely and cheered me on.

Q. You’ve started a new chapter with a new collaboration. What efforts are you making to show The Wind’s unique color?

A. (Kim Hee-soo) While maintaining The Wind’s existing color, we’re working to make each member’s individual colors brighter and bolder. Please look forward to us as we strive to approach you with unique and special charms.

A. (Choi Han-bin) I’m building up my stamina so I don’t get tired no matter how many songs we perform. We’re focusing on bringing out our own individual styles.

A. (Park Ha-yu-chan) I believe a team’s color comes from teamwork, so we’re working hard to unite even more strongly as members.

Q. Is there anything you really want to do with the members to celebrate your 3rd anniversary?

A. (Tanaton) I want to go on an overseas trip with all the members.

A. (Ahn Chan-won) I want to spend some quality time with the members. It would be great to have time to bond while talking together.

A. (Jang Hyun-jun) I also want to go on a trip with the members. Anywhere would be great.

Q. How do you hope The Wind will be remembered in the future?

A. (Kim Hee-soo) I want us to be remembered as a team that brings joy and happiness to everyone, and further, a team that delivers amazement through our performances alone.

A. (Choi Han-bin) I hope we’re remembered as a team with a vibe that is uniquely The Wind.

A. (Jang Hyun-jun) It would be wonderful to be remembered as a team that is great at performing.

Q. Please leave a word for the fans who are always with you.

A. (Tanaton) I want to say thank you so much for always believing in us and loving us unconditionally. I’ll keep fighting to become a source of pride for Wiz. I love you.
