Singer Kim Tae-yeon showed off her impressive cooking skills on ‘Stars’ Top Recipe at Fun-staurant’.
In the May 15 episode of KBS2’s ‘Stars’ Top Recipe at Fun-staurant’ (hereafter ‘Fun-staurant’), Chef Jang Min-ho hosted a ‘Ho-makase’ to showcase a variety of delicious dishes.
For the ‘Best Friends Special’, Jang Min-ho invited his favorite ‘trot niece’ Kim Tae-yeon and ‘trot nephew’ Hwang Min-ho to the ‘Ho-makase’. Jang Min-ho found himself exhausted as the two energetic guests explored every corner of his home.

Kim Tae-yeon, currently in her second year of middle school, shocked everyone by revealing that she actually postponed her school trip to be there, even purchasing a separate plane ticket. When Jang Min-ho asked, “Aren’t you bringing cider and boiled eggs?” he highlighted a hilarious generational gap with the ‘Alpha Generation’ duo.
Kim Tae-yeon and Hwang Min-ho brought their favorite ingredients for the ‘Ho-makase’. Kim Tae-yeon chose chicken feet, while Hwang Min-ho brought dried radish greens and pork backbones. Using these, Jang Min-ho whipped up Siraegi Bone Roast and Corn Cheese Fire Chicken Feet. Kim Tae-yeon raved about the food, claiming Jang Min-ho cooks “a hundred or a thousand times better than my mom.” While Kim Tae-yeon teased her mother’s cooking, her mom, a huge fan of Jang Min-ho, confessed her love for him via video call.
Not to be outdone, Kim Tae-yeon displayed her own culinary talents by whipping up ‘Salted Squid Jeotgal Mixed Noodles’ on the spot, winning over everyone’s taste buds.
Meanwhile, KBS 2TV’s ‘Stars’ Top Recipe at Fun-staurant’ is a program where celebrities challenge themselves as ‘Fun-chefs’, sharing their daily lives and introducing great menus they want to share with others.
