As tvN launches its new survival show ‘Street Restaurant Fighter’, all eyes are on whether it can carry the momentum of the massive success seen by Netflix’s ‘Culinary Class Wars’.
Airing on the 14th of next month, ‘Street Restaurant Fighter’ (hereafter ‘Sre-Pa’) is an unprecedented real-life business survival show. Twenty food vendors, stripped of their titles and summoned to the streets, will have their survival and elimination decided solely by the choices of the customers. These 20 teams will set aside their sales records, experience, and fame to compete based only on their business skills in street commercial districts.
There are no judges in ‘Sre-Pa’. The only judges are the customers who open their wallets. For each mission, contestants are thrown into unpredictable commercial areas where they must serve actual customers and sell their menus. Only the objective figure of sales will determine who survives and who is eliminated.
The production team stated, “Food industry experts, stripped of their fancy titles, must survive solely on their business skills. Top-tier industry professionals that will surprise viewers have also taken on the challenge. Through this business survival show, we will encounter the interesting essence of business that we didn’t know. Please look forward to the most fierce and passionate professional war you’ve ever seen.”
‘Sre-Pa’ will premiere on June 14 at 7:40 PM.
