Actress Kang Seong-yeon Announces Remarriage: “I Could Smile Because You Were There”

Actress Kang Seong-yeon has personally announced her remarriage and revealed her new husband’s face.

On the 10th, Kang Seong-yeon shared several photos and a heartfelt message on her Instagram. In the photos, she and her husband are seen looking at the camera with bright smiles.

Kang Seong-yeon wrote, “I could smile because you were there to embrace and protect my aching heart during a long time. Everything with you, who gifted me the strength and time to live again, feels like a miracle.”

She continued, expressing her deep affection for her husband: “Let’s live kindly and peacefully with deep consideration and trust for each other. I am so grateful, I respect you, and I love you.”

Addressing her fans, she added, “My children and I are creating precious laughter and happiness by starting a new family with a very good person. Please understand that I am sharing this now, as I was cautious about things becoming too noisy in the past.”

She also shared, “I realized it is important to properly let you all know how I am living now, so I am gathering my courage. Since Instagram is my only place for communication and confession, I am sharing my heart after deep and long consideration.”

Kang Seong-yeon further noted, “The days that weren’t happy are also a part of my precious, once-in-a-lifetime life, so I intend to fold them away and build a strong future. With the precious support you’ve sent, I will become even happier. I wish peace and health for each of your precious days.”

Kang Seong-yeon married pianist Kim Ga-on in 2012 and had two sons, but the couple divorced in December 2023.
