The clock is ticking fast for BTS (RM, Jin, Suga, j-hope, Jimin, V, Jungkook) as they head back to the global stage! From a world tour and global awards to the World Cup final halftime show, BTS is once again at the center of the global entertainment industry this summer of 2026.
BTS will perform their world tour ‘ARIRANG’ at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on May 24-25 and 27-28 (KST). Amidst the heat of the North American tour, they will also make a special appearance at the American Music Awards (AMA) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on May 26 at 9 AM.
While the concert and awards show are in the same city, it is rare for artists to attend external events during a tour. The AMA is highlighting this by calling it a “special appearance.” BTS is garnering huge local attention as nominees for the top prize, “Artist of the Year.” Having won the award five years ago, they are considered strong contenders again this year.
Local predictions favor a BTS win, with much anticipation over whether they can stop Taylor Swift’s long-standing streak in that category. Additionally, BTS is highly likely to win “Best Male K-Pop Artist,” which is decided solely by fan votes.
After wrapping up their North American schedule, BTS will head to Busan in June. To celebrate their debut anniversary on June 13, they will meet Korean fans with ‘ARIRANG’ performances on June 12-13.

Next up is the full-scale European tour. Starting in Madrid, Spain on June 27-28, the massive stadium tour continues in Brussels, Belgium (July 2-3), London, UK (July 7-8), Munich, Germany (July 12-13), and Paris, France (July 18-19).
Immediately after the Paris show, BTS will take another historic stage. On July 19, they will appear as co-headliners for the halftime show of the 2026 FIFA World Cup final at the New York New Jersey Stadium. This is particularly significant as it is the first-ever halftime show introduced in the history of the World Cup final. BTS has been selected as the stars of this first stage alongside pop icons Madonna and Shakira.

Reportedly, despite the physical challenges of a tight tour schedule, BTS decided to perform because they couldn’t miss the opportunity to be part of the first-ever World Cup halftime show. Through their agency Bighit Music, they shared, “It is a great honor to stand on such a meaningful stage where the whole world comes together. We believe music is a universal language that conveys hope and harmony. It is even more meaningful to share that message with global viewers through this World Cup and contribute to expanding educational opportunities for children.”
Standing on symbolic stages where the world’s largest sporting event meets top-tier global music artists, BTS is once again proving their presence as a cultural phenomenon beyond just music.
