Tension is reaching a breaking point in ’21st Century Grand Prince’s Wife’ following an unexpected palace fire. Fans are on the edge of their seats wondering if Seong Hee-ju can successfully rescue Prince Ian from the crisis.
In the 11th episode of the MBC Friday-Saturday drama ’21st Century Grand Prince’s Wife’ airing on the 15th, Seong Hee-ju (played by IU) dives into the flames to find Prince Ian (played by Byeon Woo-seok).
After overcoming previous hardships, Seong Hee-ju and Prince Ian have been steadily preparing for the succession to the throne. However, Prime Minister Min Jung-woo (played by Roh Sang-hyun) and other royal relatives are strongly opposing the move, ramping up the tension.

With a history of tragedies in the royal family, including the death of Prince Ian’s mother in a car accident and the sudden passing of his older brother, the former king, there are growing concerns and curiosity about whether another tragedy will strike.
While Seong Hee-ju and Prince Ian fight for survival, aides Choi Hyun (played by Yoo Su-bin) and Do Hye-jung (played by Lee Yeon) will also join forces to save them. Everyone is anxiously waiting for the couple’s safe return.
