In the drama ‘Red Pearl,’ Cheon Hee-ju has betrayed Nam Sang-ji, the very person who saved her life, to join forces with the ‘villain’ Choi Jae-sung.
In the episode of the KBS2 daily drama ‘Red Pearl’ aired on the 14th, Jin-ju (played by Nam Sang-ji) saved Yu-na (played by Cheon Hee-ju) from Park Tae-ho, but the situation quickly took a turn for the worse.
Yu-na faced a life-threatening crisis caused by Park Tae-ho, and Jin-ju stepped in to rescue her. While both were recovering in the hospital, Jeong-ran (played by Kim Hee-jung) arrived with intentions to kill Yu-na. To save herself, Yu-na shifted all the blame onto Chloe, claiming that Chloe was the mastermind behind everything.
Yu-na tried to persuade Jeong-ran, saying, “Chloe made me do it. The person who should die by the Chairman’s hand is Chloe, not me.” She further suggested, “If you tell the Chairman everything Chloe planned, it could be a good thing for you. It’s beneficial for both of us to team up.”
The two eventually visited Chairman Park Tae-ho, where Yu-na knelt and begged for forgiveness. However, Park Tae-ho threatened her, stating that even if she survived, she would pay for deceiving and threatening him. In response, Yu-na exposed Chloe, claiming, “I only deceived and threatened you because of Chloe. She egged me on and used me; I was fooled too.” She further revealed that Chloe’s goal was the bio division, which is why she came to Adele. Jeong-ran added, “That fox had other intentions.”
Back at the hospital, Yu-na faced Jin-ju. After lying that she had been avoiding her out of fear of Park Tae-ho, Yu-na declared, “I can’t just die at Chairman Park’s hands, so I’ll do anything.” Jin-ju then asked, “Anything? Then could you even kill Park Tae-ho?” She offered her help, explaining that since Chairman Park would likely target Team Leader Choi’s life until the end, removing him was the only way to survive.
When asked why she was helping, Jin-ju gave a chilling smile and replied, “It’s for me too. If Chairman Park is gone, it’ll be easier to take over the bio division, right?” Determined to survive, Yu-na declared, “I’ve made up my mind. I’ll survive even if I have to kill someone.” Jin-ju then vowed to find the perfect time and place to target Chairman Park as part of her revenge.
However, the episode ended on a cliffhanger as it was revealed that Chairman Park had been listening to their entire conversation through Yu-na’s phone. He was seen in a rage, shouting, “You dare target Adele’s bio… and target me, Park Tae-ho?”
Fans are now anxious to see how Park Tae-ho will counterattack after discovering that Jin-ju is targeting both his life and his company.
