Lee Kyung-kyu was completely caught off guard when Ahn Jung-hwan mentioned he was preparing for childcare on the latest episode of ‘Childcare Intern’.
In the episode of tvN STORY’s ‘Childcare Intern’ aired on the 14th, Ahn Jung-hwan and Lee Kyung-kyu took on the challenge of looking after a 38-month-old and 12-month-old triplets. While the children were generally well-behaved, the two non-experts were quickly drained of their energy within just 30 minutes, feeling like they were managing an entire daycare class. This led to the appearance of Kim Poong as a much-needed relief pitcher.
As a father to a son, Kim Poong was smitten by the cute girls and wondered, “Should I prepare for a second child?” Lee Kyung-kyu playfully teased him, asking, “I heard you have a son. How about triplets next?” to which Kim Poong wittily replied, “Does that mean Lee Kyung-kyu will be the one babysitting my kids?” Lee Kyung-kyu then shared his own experience, noting, “Once you have them, children are all that’s left,” mentioning his daughter Ye-rim.
The laughter continued when Ahn Jung-hwan dropped a bombshell, saying, “I heard you’re preparing for a late-life baby? Exercising and even quitting alcohol!” A caption on screen read ‘Preparing for twilight childcare’. Lee Kyung-kyu quickly waved it off, jokingly adding, “Being a childcare intern is the best way to do it,” leaving everyone in stitches.
Meanwhile, Lee Ye-rim had previously mentioned she was contemplating a DINK (Double Income, No Kids) lifestyle and expressed her struggles with childcare during her own appearance on ‘Childcare Intern’.
