Gyubin to Make Major Japanese Debut on June 12, First Reveal of New Song at Local Festival!

Gyubin previously kicked off her Japanese pre-debut activities last year by releasing a Japanese version of her Korean debut track, “Really Like You.” Following an enthusiastic response from local fans, she is now gearing up for her official debut on June 12.

Her Japanese major debut song is titled “You Light Up My Life,” a track that perfectly captures Gyubin’s unique sensibility and refreshing energy. The main jacket photo has also been released, already sparking an excited reaction from global fans.

Ahead of her debut, Gyubin is making her presence felt on major Japanese stages. On the 24th, she performed at the “Nagaoka Kome Festival” in Niigata, Japan, marking her second appearance there and standing as the only Korean singer to perform.

Accompanied by a Japanese band session, Gyubin delivered impressive performances of “CAPPUCCINO,” “Evergreen,” “Satellite,” and “Really Like You (Japanese Version).” She also received high praise for her cover of Aimyon’s “Marigold.”

Most notably, she heated up the atmosphere by giving the first-ever live band performance of her upcoming Japanese major debut song, “You Light Up My Life,” which is set for release on June 12.
