Today’s (16th) episode of MBC’s variety program ‘Hangout with Yoo’ features the ‘War of Money in Changwon’ special, where Yoo Jae Suk and Joo Woo Jae face off in a one-on-one arm wrestling match amidst the passionate cheers of Changwon citizens in Gyeongsangnam-do.
After enjoying Milmyeon, a nostalgic dish from his hometown of Changwon, Joo Woo Jae is teased by the older members to pay the bill as the ‘Son of Changwon.’ In response, he throws down the gauntlet and challenges Yoo Jae Suk to an arm wrestling match.
This leads to a massive clash between ‘Suyu-ri Firewood’ Yoo Jae Suk and ‘Changwon Bone’ Joo Woo Jae, capturing everyone’s attention. Joo Woo Jae confidently claims, “I’m stronger than I look,” while Yoo Jae Suk shows off his strength by flexing his defined forearms.
Watching from the front row, the ‘country bumpkins’ are completely invested. Haha tries to cool down the heated atmosphere, worrying, “Someone’s bone might break at this rate,” while Yang Sang Guk is shocked by the unexpected competition, noting, “It’s surprisingly a close match. I thought Woo Jae had no strength at all…”
Outside the restaurant, Changwon citizens continue to cheer wildly. Yoo Jae Suk treats the fans to his legendary ‘Grasshopper Dance,’ fluttering around for the crowd.
