Director Na Hong-jin’s new film ‘HOPE’, which has been invited to the competition section of the 79th Cannes Film Festival, will make its grand debut with a world premiere on the 17th at 9:30 PM local time. This will be followed by an official press conference on the 18th.

Director Na Hong-jin and the incredible cast—Hwang Jung-min, Jo In-sung, Jung Ho-yeon, Michael Fassbender, Alicia Vikander, and Taylor Russell—have all confirmed their attendance! They will gather at the Cannes Film Festival to share this special moment with movie fans from all over the globe.

The team will hit the red carpet and attend the world premiere at the Grand Théâtre Lumière on the 17th, before meeting international media during the official photocalls and press conferences.

‘HOPE’ follows the story of Beom-seok, the chief of the Hopo-hang office located in the DMZ. After hearing from local youths that a tiger has appeared, the entire village goes on high alert, leading Beom-seok to encounter an unbelievable reality.

Long-awaited and meticulously prepared by Director Na Hong-jin, ‘HOPE’ is set to hit theaters in Korea this summer.
