IVE has launched a brand new YouTube series called ‘Ak-IVE’, where they shared some deeply emotional stories from their past life experiences!
In the first episode of ‘Ak-IVE’, recently unveiled by Starship Entertainment, the members dove into the intriguing world of hypnosis to discover their past lives. While some were skeptical at first, they soon fell into a deep trance, encountering various past versions of themselves and even shedding tears.
An Yujin got emotional as she recalled the life of a lonely girl wandering barefoot through a forest in search of her parents. Gaeul appeared as a blonde girl reminiscing about a heartbreaking unrequited love for a knight, while Rei, who is often told by fans that she resembles a guinea pig, shed tears of regret after seeing a past life as a bird that left its injured mother too soon.
Jang Wonyoung, who had high expectations for the experience, captivated viewers with a narrative that began as a princess raised lonely under strict parents and evolved into a warm queen who showered her children with love. Reflecting on the experience, Jang Wonyoung shared, “I naturally felt a sense of longing and sadness.”
Leeseo experienced the life of ‘Hana’, a wealthy international student in the US who went through a fire accident. After the session, she lightened the mood with a cute and honest comment, saying, “Deep down, I was hoping to be a princess.”
Liz was the only member to experience two different past lives. After transitioning from a guardian angel who helped people to a lonely male corporate employee who quit due to burnout, Liz expressed her wish to “build many happy memories with friends in this current life.”
After the sessions, the IVE members met with a psychological counselor to receive warm advice and heal their inner selves based on the emotions from their past lives. They wrapped up the episode on a heartwarming note, positively vowing, “Now that we know our past lives, we’ll live this life to the fullest!”
