Jassy, husband of entertainer Hong Hyun-hee, faced some skepticism from his production team after another shopping trip for his son, Junbeom. He defended himself, saying, “I’m not hoarding. Junbeom is really growing fast!”
On May 22, a video titled “Of course these are Junbeom’s clothes (not Jassy’s)” was uploaded to the YouTube channel ‘Hong Hyun-hee Jassy’s Hong-Ssun TV’.
Before introducing the new clothes, Jassy emphasized, “I’m not just hoarding. Junbeom is really growing fast,” explaining that the rapid growth makes constant shopping necessary. Jassy has previously shared content showing him buying and introducing new clothes for Junbeom.
Seeing a new windbreaker, the production team pointed out, “There’s already one hanging right there.” Jassy responded, “I bought that one in the fall. He won’t be able to wear it much longer. Junbeom is the tallest in his kindergarten. He grows as fast as I shop!” He added that while he doesn’t need duplicates, he couldn’t let his son go out in clothes with sleeves that are too short, insisting there was a reason for the shopping.
Jassy jokingly told the team, “Stop asking why I bought so many,” and added, “I’m planning to hold a subscriber event for the clothes that became too small. You guys are too harsh!” which brought laughter to the set.

Jassy then showcased his fashion sense by introducing various children’s wear, including flower-patterned pants, cute and cool sets, shorts, and shirts. While showing off a red pants outfit, he shared a detailed styling tip: “It’s really cute if you pair it with a yellow t-shirt. If you want a point, fold the sleeves halfway. Add some accessories to complete the look.”
Jassy mentioned, “About ten wholesale owners asked me, ‘Our summer new arrivals aren’t even out yet, why are you here?'” The production team asked, “Does that mean you’re going back again?”
Jassy replied, “If I get a text, I’ll just go to look. It’s only polite since they invited me.” He explained, “Junbeom gets really hot in the summer. What I bought today is for the transitional season. Kids’ clothes have a first and second wave of summer releases. The second wave comes out in a month.” The production team joked, “At this rate, let’s just call it ‘Monthly Namdaemun’,” causing more laughter.
