Actor Jung Dong-won’s legacy of kindness continues!
On May 13, the Korea Childhood Cancer Foundation announced that it received a donation of 700,000 won in Jung Dong-won’s name, which was the prize money from the Sunhan Star April King of Singers competition.
The funds will be used to support medical treatment costs for children and adolescents suffering from childhood cancer, leukemia, and rare incurable diseases. This heartwarming donation was made possible through the support of Jung Dong-won’s fandom, ‘Uju Chongdongwon’, via Sunhan Star.
Through Sunhan Star, a donation platform that celebrates the positive influence of stars, the total cumulative donations made in Jung Dong-won’s name have now reached 56.81 million won.
Meanwhile, Jung Dong-won (born in 2007) entered the Marine Corps Education and Training Center on February 23 to fulfill his mandatory military service. He is expected to be discharged from the Marine Corps in August 2027.
