Kangnam is opening up about the strict health management he has been under since marrying Lee Sang-hwa.
The refrigerators of Kangnam and the “Ice Queen” Lee Sang-hwa will be fully revealed on the JTBC variety show “Please Take Care of My Refrigerator,” airing on the 17th at 8:50 PM.
Now in their 8th year of marriage, Kangnam exposes Lee Sang-hwa’s thorough management system, saying, “I didn’t know she would keep me in check this much after marriage.” He will share everything from a “forced running” episode where he had to get out of the car at Wangsimni and run all the way home to Yongsan, to the inner reasons why Lee Sang-hwa had to be so strict about her husband’s health.
The episode will also feature a realistic talk between husbands of former national skating athletes. Go Woo-rim shares an anecdote about Kim Yuna’s amazing reflexes, noting, “Her reflexes are definitely on another level.” Kangnam adds a story about Lee Sang-hwa’s near-superhuman strength, revealing, “Lee Sang-hwa once carried me up to the 5th floor.” He further causes laughter by sharing an episode from when he visited a cafe with Lee Sang-hwa and Kim Yuna.
A battle of devoted support between the husbands also catches the eye. Kangnam surprises everyone by revealing he obtained a sports massage certification for his wife, who lives with the “scars of glory.” Go Woo-rim deeply empathizes with Kangnam’s struggles, forming a strong bond between husbands of legendary athletes.
When Go Woo-rim claims he has never fought with Kim Yuna, Kangnam makes a sudden revelation, asking, “Didn’t you get scolded back then?” Confidently, Kangnam shares the hidden daily lives of Kim Yuna and Go Woo-rim, asking, “Do you know why I’m here?”
The revealed refrigerator clearly shows signs of Lee Sang-hwa’s strict management. Kangnam adds to the laughter by complaining that “there is no space for me in the house” and describing the complex process he must go through even to eat a single delivery meal.
