Broadcaster Kim Bin-woo is currently in the hot seat over a noise complaint between floors.
During a recent SNS live broadcast, Kim Bin-woo was seen singing and dancing to music under flashy lights.
The issue lies in the timing and location. The broadcast took place around 1 AM inside an apartment. When someone asked if he was in an apartment, he replied, “I’m on the first floor.” However, loud noises late at night can still disturb neighbors, even on the first floor. His remark suggesting that being on the first floor made it okay only added fuel to the fire.
As the situation escalated, Kim Bin-woo apologized on SNS, stating, “I am deeply reflecting on my short-sightedness. I will be more careful in the future. I am sorry.”
This isn’t the first time Kim Bin-woo has been embroiled in controversy. During Christina Aguilera’s visit to Korea for a performance at the KSPO DOME, many fans were waiting in long lines. Kim Bin-woo was spotted cutting into the middle of the queue, leading other fans to lash out, asking, “Do you think being a celebrity makes you special? Why are you cutting in line?” At the time, he explained that he was simply joining friends who were already in line.
Once the incident became public, he clarified, “I am truly sorry. I apologize if I hindered anyone’s experience at the concert. I went there simply as a fan of Aguilera. It wasn’t an act of celebrity privilege to get a better view.”
