Singer Lee Sun-hee opened up about her surprising personal routine for calming her mind. She confessed that whenever her emotions boil over, she organizes her clothes, goes for walks, or sets off on solo trips.
On May 17, Lee Sun-hee appeared as a guest on Lee Geum-hee’s YouTube channel ‘My Geum-hee’ to promote her new song ‘Now I See Love’.
From the start, Lee Sun-hee showed her affection for the show, saying, “I really missed you all. I’m a huge fan of ‘My Geum-hee’. I was so excited that I spent the whole night picking out my outfit.”

Reflecting on her music, she noted, “Even though I sang it, the lyrics are truly beautiful. It’s only after the boiling emotions settle down that things become clear. That’s really how it is.”
When Lee Geum-hee asked how she manages those intense emotions, Lee Sun-hee honestly shared her daily habits.
“It might sound boring, but I walk. I walk a lot in the Han River Citizen Park and go on solo trips,” she said. “When I’m in a situation where I can’t go anywhere, I take out all the clothes I have at home.”
She explained, “Repeating the same action brings a sense of silence. Strangely, melodies come to me after that silence. Sometimes I’m halfway through organizing my clothes and suddenly rush to the studio.”
She laughed, adding, “When I return home in the evening, the house is a total mess. I wonder why I even did that.”
The broadcast also featured heartfelt words of comfort. Lee Sun-hee told herself, “Sun-hee, you’ve done well. I hope you continue to love yourself while singing the songs you love for a very long time.”
Lee Geum-hee shared her sincere feelings, saying, “You’ve really worked hard. I feel this even more because I know what you’re like behind the scenes. Please sing until you’re 90. I want to be the one hosting your retirement stage.”
Lee Sun-hee responded with a smile and a simple “Okay,” creating a touching moment.
Meanwhile, Lee Sun-hee debuted in 1984 after winning the grand prize at the MBC Riverside Song Festival with ‘To J’. This year marks her 41st anniversary since debut.
