Massive Attack, Pixies, and HYUKOH Join the 2nd Lineup for 2026 Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival!

The second lineup for the “2026 Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival” was revealed on the 14th! Leading the charge are headliner-level artists MASSIVE ATTACK and PIXIES, joined by HYUKOH, Sultan Of The Disco, Band Nah, Dabda, LEENALCHI, and SIMILE LAND, making a total of 8 teams.

Hosted by Incheon Metropolitan City, the 21st anniversary of the “Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival” (hereafter Pentaport) is once again raising expectations among music fans by selecting a wide array of domestic and international artists across various genres.

The legendary band MASSIVE ATTACK, born in Bristol, UK, has joined the second lineup. Formed in 1988, they established a new musical language called “Trip-hop” through their debut album “Blue Lines” and are regarded as one of the most innovative artists who shifted the course of modern popular music since 1990.

Having built global fame with masterpieces like “Unfinished Sympathy” and “Teardrop,” MASSIVE ATTACK has deeply influenced numerous musicians, including Radiohead, Portishead, and The xx, with their experimental sound blending electronic music, hip-hop, dub, soul, and rock.

Known for overwhelming audiences’ sight and hearing with live performances that combine music, visuals, and sharp social messages, MASSIVE ATTACK has engraved the “Bristol Sound” worldwide. They are set to deliver the most intense moments at Pentaport with their unrivaled tension and immersion.

US indie rock legends PIXIES are also on the second lineup. Visiting Pentaport for the first time as part of their 40th anniversary world tour, they are evaluated as the band that changed the massive flow of alternative rock since starting in Boston in 1986. Their unique “Loud-Quiet-Loud” progression, featuring explosive noise hidden within quiet melodies, became the foundation for the 90s grunge sound and provided a musical milestone for artists like Nirvana and Radiohead.

From “Where Is My Mind?” which closed the movie “Fight Club,” to “Here Comes Your Man” and “Debaser,” PIXIES have received praise from rock fans worldwide. They will showcase live energy condensed from 40 years of experience during their first-ever performance in Korea.

HYUKOH, who has received steady love from music fans at home and abroad for their sensory sound and original musical world, has also joined the second lineup. After leaving a deep impression on Pentaport audiences last year with a special project stage alongside Sunset Rollercoaster, HYUKOH will return this year with a solo band set to showcase deeper emotions and a high-quality live performance.

The “King of Disco,” Sultan Of The Disco, returns to the Pentaport stage after about six years. Having built an unrivaled disco and funk sound in the domestic music scene, they have left an irreplaceable mark with their characteristic cheerful energy and explosive groove. Loved for their addictive melodies and overwhelming live performances in songs like “Butterfly,” “Ttangttangball,” and “Caravan,” Sultan Of The Disco is expected to lead the audience into a massive dance floor at this year’s Pentaport.

Band Nah and Dabda have also announced their joining. Band Nah has built a wide fan base with lyrics capturing everyday emotions and friendly melodies, while Dabda has garnered attention from music fans globally for their dreamy sound and sensibilities based on Math Rock.

LEENALCHI, who has established a unique musical world by combining traditional Korean music with modern band sounds, is also on the lineup. Having thrilled audiences globally with their unconventional reinterpretation of Pansori, they recently solidified their status as global artists by signing with legendary musician David Byrne’s label “Luaka Bop” and announcing a large-scale world tour. They are expected to show an irreplaceable presence on the Pentaport stage with their signature explosive energy and performance.

SIMILE LAND, who drew attention as a “Penta Super Rookie” last year, has also joined the lineup. With their addition, the second lineup has become even more diverse, encompassing various genres and emotions.

With this second reveal, Pentaport has confirmed a total of 36 teams. The first lineup, which garnered hot interest from fans, included 28 top-tier domestic and international artists, such as Khruangbin, who fascinated the world with their unique psychedelic groove and exotic sound, Silica Gel, who stands at the peak of the domestic rock scene with experimental sounds, The Volunteers, who showcase sensory alternative rock, and singer-songwriter Jang Pill Soon, returning to the Pentaport stage after 12 years, along with The Lemon Twigs, never young beach, and The Geeks.
