MC Dingdong stated, “As someone who hosts broadcasts, I should have handled the situation responsibly without losing my cool in any situation, but I showed an unsightly side because I couldn’t control my emotions in the moment.” He added, “This is my clear mistake, and there is no excuse for it.”
He continued, “I have offered a sincere apology for my rude and lacking behavior, and we have candidly cleared up misunderstandings, acknowledged our respective faults, and decided to support each other’s futures.” He added, “I will constantly strive and reflect to become an MC Dingdong who handles everything more carefully, considers others, and acts maturely.”
Additionally, MC Dingdong announced legal action against indiscriminate rumors and malicious comments. He emphasized, “From this moment on, I will no longer overlook and will proceed with legal action without leniency against those who create and spread malicious rumors that differ from the facts regarding this incident, or post indiscriminate hate comments toward my family and acquaintances.”
Meanwhile, MC Dingdong caused a controversy back in March when he assaulted female BJ A during a live internet broadcast. When BJ A mentioned a drunk driving incident from two years ago, saying, “The XX from the incident two years ago,” an enraged MC Dingdong was seen grabbing BJ A’s hair on stream. At the time, after calming down, MC Dingdong explained, “I have my own trauma, and as soon as the incident from two years ago was mentioned, I think I acted that way because I suddenly thought of my children,” but he still faced heavy criticism.
