Singer Muzie opens up about feeling a sense of deprivation following the success of UV.
Kim Tae-gyun and Muzie from the radio show ‘Two O’Clock Escape Cultwo Show’ are set to appear in the 24th episode of MBN’s ‘Kim Ju-ha’s Day & Night’ on the 9th.
During the episode, Kim Tae-gyun reveals his past decision to remain single to support his family, having grown up as the youngest of four children under a single mother. He even told his wife at the time, “I hope you don’t marry me if that’s what you’re thinking,” to which she sharply replied, “Who said I’m marrying you? Let’s just date!” After dating for 3 to 4 years, Kim Tae-gyun eventually decided he wanted to marry her and prepared a proposal, but his wife noticed and suddenly disappeared. Fans are curious about why she ran away and how they eventually tied the knot despite the failed proposal.
Meanwhile, Muzie confesses, “I couldn’t enjoy those great moments because of my inferiority complex,” revealing the unexpected sense of deprivation he felt right after UV’s success. He explained that after spending a long time in music without receiving much attention, he struggled to adjust to the spotlight he received while working with a star like Yoo Se-yoon. Expressing regret for not fully embracing the happiness, Muzie also shares how his thoughts on non-musical activities changed after UV.

Kim Ju-ha sparks laughter after criticizing the YouTube channel ‘UV Bang,’ run by Muzie and Yoo Se-yoon, only to receive an enthusiastic invitation. When Kim Ju-ha reacted strongly to the “fake documentary” style of ‘UV Bang,’ saying, “It’s so rude,” Muzie welcomed her reaction, exclaiming, “That’s exactly our target audience! We need more people like you!” With everyone agreeing that Kim Ju-ha should appear on ‘UV Bang,’ curiosity is peaking over her response.
Muzie also shocks everyone by revealing that he and announcer Kim Dae-ho are “club friends,” noting, “It’s been a while since I danced with him.” The two became close after meeting as a DJ and guest on ‘2 O’Clock Date.’ Muzie shares that their friendship evolved into “club buddies” after Kim Dae-ho confessed, “I actually love clubs.”
In a more emotional segment, Kim Tae-gyun shares the story of his struggle to have his father recognized as a national merit recipient. His father passed away when Kim was 6 due to salivary gland cancer, which was later recognized as a result of Agent Orange exposure during the Vietnam War, leading to his burial at the National Cemetery. Kim Tae-gyun, who also has his mother buried there, reveals his deep filial piety by visiting the graves once a month. He moved everyone to tears by expressing his longing for his mother, mentioning that he couldn’t finish the plum syrup she had made before she passed.
The episode airs on the 9th at 9:40 PM.
