Oh Sang-jin Shares Parenting Struggles with His Mini-Me Son: “I Only Slept One Hour… He’s Like a Salted Yellowtail Fish!”

Oh Sang-jin Shares Parenting Struggles with His Mini-Me Son:

Former announcer Oh Sang-jin opened up about the challenges of raising his son.

In the May 26 episode of SBS ‘Same Bed, Different Dreams Season 2 – You Are My Destiny’, model Lee Hyun-yi appeared while focusing on her professional work.

During a break, Lee Hyun-yi visited co-MC Oh Sang-jin and congratulated him, saying, “You’ve become a father of two!”

Oh Sang-jin and Kim So-young welcomed their second child this past April. The studio MCs were full of praise for the baby’s distinct and beautiful features.

When Lee Hyun-yi asked how he felt, Oh Sang-jin shared the reality of parenting: “It still doesn’t feel real. I came here after looking after the baby over the weekend. I can’t even sleep at night.”

Lee Hyun-yi added, “But he’s so pretty! He’s just so lovely. He was already going to be cute, but he turned out absolutely beautiful.”

She then asked, “You mentioned before that your daughter is quiet, you’re quiet, and So-young is calm. Are you mentally prepared (for a son)?”

Oh Sang-jin expressed his struggle with his son’s incredible energy, saying, “It’s only been a few days, but he’s a yellowtail. A large yellowtail. Like a salted yellowtail fish. I only slept for one hour yesterday.”

As a mother of two sons, Lee Hyun-yi laughed and said, “Welcome to Son World. Just wait. He’s going to wear you out completely.”

Kim Jun-ho was shocked, remarking, “So you only sleep for one hour when you have a baby.” Kim Sook then asked Kim Jun-ho, who is preparing for children, “Is your stamina ready?” Kim Jun-ho responded with a deep sigh as if he were exhausted just by the question, sparking laughter.
