The quartet of Park Eun-bin, Cha Eun-woo, Choi Dae-hoon, and Im Sung-jae face off against those threatening peace in ‘Wonderfuls’.
Netflix released 15 press stills for ‘Wonderfuls’ on the 6th. Set at the end of the century in 1999, the series is a superpower comic adventure where clumsy locals who accidentally gain abilities struggle to protect the world from villains.
The released stills capture the attention of viewers by teasing the tumultuous events that will unfold for the four residents of Haeseong City who unexpectedly gained superpowers.

First, a still of Eun Chaeni (Park Eun-bin) standing bewildered in the middle of a snowy mountain among geared-up hikers sparks interest, capturing the moment her teleportation ability suddenly activates. As seen in her surprised expression while floating in the air, curiosity grows about Chaeni’s story as she gets caught up in unexpected incidents due to powers she doesn’t even understand.

Lee Un-jeong (Cha Eun-woo) waking up drenched in sweat looks like an ordinary civil servant, but his appearance piques curiosity about what secret ability he is hiding and the story behind it.
A still of Son Kyung-hoon (Choi Dae-hoon) clinging to the ceiling with a terrified expression brings laughter, showing him at a loss due to his bizarre sticky ability. Meanwhile, Kang Robin (Im Sung-jae) is seen swinging his fists but looking somewhat clumsy, capturing a moment fitting for his nickname, the biggest pushover in Haeseong City. Expectations are high for how he will perform after gaining super strength, which is the complete opposite of his timid personality.

Meanwhile, a still of Kim Jeon-bok (Kim Hae-sook) counting stacks of cash at the counter of ‘Keunson Restaurant’ reveals the charisma of someone who was once known as ‘King Jeon-bok’, a big shot in the Myeongdong loan shark world before becoming Chaeni’s grandmother. She adds another layer to the narrative as a character who would risk any danger to keep her granddaughter, Chaeni, safe.
The appearance of Ha Won-do (Son Hyun-joo), the head of the superpower research experiment ‘Wunderkinder Project’, surveying an underground lab, along with the trio Seok Ju-ran (Jung Yi-seo), Seok Ho-ran (Choi Yoon-ji), and Kim Pal-ho (Bae Na-ra) supporting him, also catches the eye. Curiosity is rising about why Ha Won-do visited Haeseong City and what secret plan he is preparing with the Wunderkinder trio.

With sophisticated direction, witty dialogue, and a unique comic ensemble of colorful characters, ‘Wonderfuls’ is set to captivate viewers worldwide. It will be released on May 15 (Friday), exclusively on Netflix.
