Singer Park Gun and Han Young are opening up about the distress caused by rumors of separation and divorce as they enter their 5th year of marriage.
In the episode of SBS ‘Same Bed, Different Dreams Season 2’ airing on the 26th, the current status of Park Gun and Han Young’s marriage will be revealed.
During a recent studio recording for ‘Same Bed, Different Dreams Season 2’, Park Gun made a surprise appearance for the first time in three years. While the atmosphere was initially welcoming, the studio soon buzzed with comments like, “I’ve heard some bad rumors lately” and “We were so worried about you two.” In response, Park Gun spoke out about the rumors of separation and divorce that have continued to spread across online communities since their marriage.
Park Gun shared his honest feelings about the widespread rumors, stating, “I’ve received calls from all over the country asking if we got divorced.” To finally put an end to the speculation, Park Gun and Han Young will reveal details about their married life that they have never shared before.
The couple has consistently denied the divorce rumors. In a previously released teaser, Han Young expressed her frustration, asking, “We are living happily, so why do people keep saying we’re divorced?” She added, “It’s actually very sensitive and difficult,” leaving fans feeling sympathetic.
The rumors first surfaced in January when a variety show revealed Park Gun living alone in a rural village in North Chungcheong Province. At the time, Park Gun first mentioned the divorce rumors while showing his daily life away from their home in Seoul.
Since then, Park Gun has made several efforts to shut down the rumors. On the KBS show ‘AM Plaza’ aired in March, he explained the discord rumors by saying, “I think it’s just a happening that occurred because so many people adore us.” He added, “I’ve received many calls, and some people even asked me if I was okay on the street. So I told them not to worry and that everything is fine.”
Additionally, on SBS ‘My Little Old Boy’, Han Young mentioned that she was completely unaware of the divorce rumors until she saw the comments, emphasizing, “We are living very well.”
Park Gun and Han Young tied the knot in 2022, overcoming an eight-year age difference.
