Park Hyo-jin, the 'SNU Minji' Set to Become the Face of KBS! Even Keeps a Makeup Correction Note on 'Boss in the Mirror'

Park Hyo-jin, the next face of KBS, caught everyone’s attention on ‘Boss in the Mirror’.

In the May 24th episode of the KBS 2TV variety show ‘Boss in the Mirror’ (Sadanggui), Um Ji-in visited the KBS Changwon General Station.

There, Um Ji-in met rookie announcer Park Hyo-jin, who is currently serving her regional rotation. Park Hyo-jin had previously drawn attention as ‘Seoul National University Minji’ upon joining KBS. Um Ji-in visited specifically to support her junior colleague working at the same station.

Showing the epitome of a model student, Park Hyo-jin arrived at work in a suit, stating, “I come dressed neatly with an announcer’s mindset.” She even keeps a “makeup correction note” in her work diary. Um Ji-in was amazed by the detailed records, which included notes from previous review sessions. MC Kim Sook also marveled, saying, “She’s definitely going to be the face of KBS.”

A senior announcer and head of the announcer department at KBS Changwon also praised her, saying, “Everyone says she’s doing great. She might look like a baby or a rookie now, but the moment the studio lights turn on, her gaze completely changes. She is currently serving as the sole anchor for our 40-minute main news.”

In the dressing room, she meticulously handled her own makeup and outfits without any help. She even caused a stir by altering a size 55 outfit down to a size 33.

Um Ji-in even watched the news to help her junior. During the rehearsal, when Park Hyo-jin responded to the PD’s call verbally, Um Ji-in gave her a sharp correction: “You’re doing exactly what was pointed out during the review session. You must respond with hand signals during rehearsals. Even if it’s not a live broadcast, if it becomes a habit, it could lead to a broadcasting accident.”
