The latest episode of KBS2’s variety show Mr. House Husband Season 2, which aired on the 16th, continued the heartwarming story of Park Seo-jin’s family as they hosted a special dinner show for his mother’s birthday.
Park Seo-jin, along with his sister Hyo-jung, Yoyomi, and Chu Hyuk-jin, went all out for his mother, preparing everything from a red carpet to a lavish birthday feast. Park Seo-jin even gave his mother a scarf to cover a scar from a previous surgery, telling her, “You’ve worked so hard, so you deserve a day like this.”
In a surprising move, Park Seo-jin’s father handed over the keys to the boat to his wife and announced his retirement. He shared, “I’ve put up the boat that was like my life so that I can enjoy the rest of my years comfortably on land. You don’t have to get on the boat anymore.” The siblings were deeply moved as he decided to let go of the vessel that had been their livelihood for 33 years.
Park Seo-jin opened up about his emotions, saying, “It always weighed on my heart that my parents worked so hard on the boat, so I really hoped they would stop. But now that they actually are, I feel a strange and heavy emotion in my heart.”
