Rock Vocalist Kim Kyung Ho Mourns the Passing of His Father

Rock vocalist Kim Kyung Ho is mourning the loss of his father, who passed away at the age of 86.

According to music industry sources on the 17th, Kim Kyung Ho is currently staying at the funeral hall with his family to receive mourners. The funeral is being held at the Funeral Town in Seo-gu, Gwangju, with the burial scheduled for June 19 at 7:30 AM at the family cemetery in Hwasun, Jeonnam.

Kim Kyung Ho has always shared a deep bond with his father. In fact, the title track of his 7th album released in 2003 was titled “Father.”

Since his debut in 1994, Kim Kyung Ho established himself as one of Korea’s most iconic rock vocalists with massive hits like “People Who Make Me Sad” and “Forbidden Love” from his second album in 1997. He continues to be loved by fans through his active musical career.

Meanwhile, Kim Kyung Ho is set to meet his fans nationwide through the “2026 Kim Kyung Ho National Tour Concert [Time for Ballads],” kicking off on June 6 at the Sungshin Women’s University Unjung Green Campus Auditorium in Seoul.
