The conflict between Park Hae-soo and Lee Hee-joon in ‘Scarecrow’ is reaching a breaking point! In the 7th episode aired on the 11th, it was finally revealed that the serial killer Lee Yong-woo was actually Jung Moon-sung (playing Lee Ki-hwan).
Ahead of the 8th episode, the ENA Monday-Tuesday drama ‘Scarecrow’ released stills on the 12th showing Kang Tae-joo (Park Hae-soo) and Cha Si-young (Lee Hee-joon) facing off once again, amidst the appearance of a new suspect, Im Seok-man (Baek Seung-hwan).
The previous episode left viewers in shock with twists and turns, from Lee Ki-beom (Song Geon-hee) being cleared of false accusations to the unveiling of Lee Yong-woo’s true identity. While Im Seok-man was arrested as a new suspect and Lee Ki-beom was released from detention, Lee Ki-beom tragically passed away before even reaching home. The cause of death was sepsis and organ damage resulting from assault and torture. Most shockingly, it was revealed that Lee Ki-beom already knew the truth about his older brother, Lee Ki-hwan (Jung Moon-sung).

The newly released photos capture a high-tension moment between Kang Tae-joo and Cha Si-young. As Kang Tae-joo glares at Cha Si-young while grabbing him by the collar, Cha Si-young stares back without flinching. With a preview showing Kang Tae-joo resentfully asking, “Are you even human? How could you frame me with such charges?” fans are eager to see where their complicated relationship of cooperation and betrayal leads.
Another set of photos shows detectives Jang Myung-do (Jeon Jae-hong) and Do Hyung-gu (Kim Eun-woo) conducting a field verification of the 7th crime scene. Anger is rising as the two detectives aggressively push Im Seok-man, despite his poor physical condition making it nearly impossible for him to climb the victim’s wall. All eyes are on whether the second suspect, Im Seok-man, will suffer the same fate as Lee Ki-beom.
The production team stated, “In the 8th episode airing today (12th), the conflict between Kang Tae-joo and Cha Si-young will deepen uncontrollably following Lee Ki-beom’s death.” They added, “The investigation surrounding the new suspect, Im Seok-man, will also take an unexpected turn.”
Episode 8 of ‘Scarecrow’ airs today at 10 PM.
