Lee Sang-hoon, who has seen a huge boost thanks to ‘Omniscient Interfering View’, is sharing an update on his life.
In the May 16 episode of MBC’s variety show ‘Omniscient Interfering View’, comedian Lee Sang-hoon, known as the ‘Top Geek’, will be seen hosting a massive toy flea market.
Held in honor of Children’s Day, this flea market was essentially a festival for ‘kidults’. With a whopping 100 booths, limited edition figures and ultra-rare toys made an appearance. In response, about 2,000 visitors flocked to the event, resulting in long waiting lines.
To pick out items for the flea market, Lee Sang-hoon heads to his private warehouse. Since his museum is already full, he uses a separate storage space. The sight of countless toy boxes filling the warehouse is so impressive it looks like an actual toy store. Highlights include a voice-responsive Iron Man mask and a lightsaber gifted to him by Kang Daniel, who is also famous for being a Star Wars fan. To decide on selling prices, Lee Sang-hoon searches for his so-called ‘Figure Account Book’ where he records purchase prices. When asked if he has ever totaled the amount, he reveals, “I’ve calculated up to 500 million won.”
He also shared the surprising news that the number of visitors to his Toy Museum increased seven-fold after the broadcast. Thanks to this, Lee Sang-hoon reveals he plans to clear all the debts incurred while establishing the museum within this month. He reportedly expressed his gratitude, saying, “It’s all thanks to ‘Omniscient Interfering View’.”
