Group USPEER is making their highly anticipated return this June!
Their agency, MW Entertainment, announced on the 7th, “USPEER has confirmed their comeback for June. As it has been a while since their last album, they plan to showcase an even more upgraded version of themselves and their music. Please look forward to it.” They added, “Unfortunately, Yeowon will not be able to join them, but we ask for your support for the six members of USPEER as they embark on a new journey with fresh determination.”
Prior to the comeback news, MW Entertainment officialized the group’s 6-member lineup on the 6th via official SNS, announcing the end of member Yeowon’s activities with the team and the termination of her exclusive contract.
This news of a new beginning is already grabbing fans’ attention. This comeback is particularly meaningful as it marks their first return in about a year since the release of their first single album ‘SPEED ZONE’ last June. It also signals a reorganization into a 6-member team consisting of Soi, Seoyoo, Sian, Daon, Roa, and Chaena, and is their first album since moving to a new agency earlier this year.
Having been spotlighted as “complete rookies” since their debut, USPEER previously climbed the music charts with their title track ‘ZOOM’ thanks to their energetic performances and stable vocals. As a standout among 5th generation rookies, both industry insiders and K-pop fans are eagerly awaiting their new album and activities.
Furthermore, USPEER recently made waves appearing on the Hong Kong terrestrial channel ViuTV’s reality program ‘100 Days Girl Group’ (百日女團). They also maintained the top spot as the ‘Best Rookie’ (Female) for 10 consecutive weeks on the global K-pop voting site ‘KTOPSTAR,’ proving that domestic and international fans have remained interested even during their hiatus, making this comeback even more exciting.
