Watch Movies for Just 1,000 Won! Yeonggwang Small Cinema Offers Huge Ticket Discounts

Yeonggwang-gun in Jeonnam announced on May 8 that it will provide movie ticket discounts thanks to 44.62 million won in national funding received through the National Movie Viewing Activation Support Project.

Residents can catch the latest films for just 1,000 won! The Korean Film Council is covering 6,000 won of the original 7,000 won (2D) ticket price at Yeonggwang Small Cinema.

You can book your tickets either on-site or online. For those booking in person, there is no limit on the number of discounted tickets per person.

Online bookings are limited to a maximum of two discounted tickets per person.

The offer starts on the 13th and is available to 7,437 people on a first-come, first-served basis until the funds run out.
