Yang Sang-guk and BIBI appeared as guests on the KBS2 variety show ‘Problem Child in House’ aired on the 21st.
During the episode, Kim Sook asked, “Is it true that you’re more popular than Yoo Jae-suk in your hometown?” to which Joo Woo-jae added, “I’ve seen that myself,” confirming the claim.
Yang Sang-guk proudly shared, “While everyone in Korea would go ‘Wow, it’s Yoo Jae-suk!’ when he’s around, in Jinyoung, even if Yoo Jae-suk is standing right next to me, they’ll call out ‘Yang Sang-guk!'”
He also recalled filming the MBC variety show ‘How Do You Play?’ with Yoo Jae-suk and others, mentioning that people shouted “Sang-guk, Sang-guk!” from all directions even as he drove past in a car.
Reflecting on his local popularity, Yang Sang-guk felt proud, saying, “There’s a special bond in Jinyoung. I think the local residents give me a lot of love because a celebrity came from their region.”
