Another heartwarming story about Yoo Jae Suk, who even memorizes the names of the youngest writers, has been revealed.
On May 7, a video titled “Celebrity heartwarming stories mixed with some badmouthing” was uploaded to the channel ‘Broadcasting People_PD2Writer2’.
In the video, the cast members shared various touching anecdotes about Yoo Jae Suk.
One writer recalled their time working on JTBC’s ‘Sugar Man,’ sharing, “Some non-celebrities came as audience members, and one of them was my friend. Seeing Yoo Jae Suk was on my friend’s life bucket list.”
The writer explained, “Yoo Jae Suk oppa memorized all the staff names. He’d memorize them after hearing them during the first team dinner. If someone had a unique name, he’d playfully tease them, asking, ‘Why is your name this?'” They added that after recording, when the friend asked for a photo, Yoo Jae Suk intentionally called the writer by name, saying, “Writer XX,” to show their closeness. While he usually doesn’t use informal language, he did so because the writer’s acquaintance was there.
The writer concluded by saying, “He is the first MC to ever memorize my name.”
