YouTuber Heizini has finally revealed the reason why she went on a family trip without her second son.
On May 16, a video titled “The story many of you asked about, why the second child was missing from every trip” was uploaded to Heizini’s YouTube channel.
In the video, Heizini shared the health issues that prevented her second son from joining the family outings.
Heizini showed her concern when her second son, Seung-yu, suddenly developed a fever. She rushed to the hospital, saying, “It took three months to finally get the otitis media under control, so it can’t happen again.” The diagnosis revealed that while the right ear had mostly healed, the left ear was still affected, and it seemed he had caught a new cold.
A heartbroken Heizini wondered why he kept getting sick even without going outside, while her husband comforted her, noting that this is often the case when there are siblings.
Ultimately, Heizini decided not to bring Seung-yu along on the family trip to Busan, and she continued to worry and check on his condition throughout the journey.

Heizini then addressed the reasons why her second child had been absent from various family trips.
She began by saying, “Many of you were curious about Seung-yu and often asked, ‘Why isn’t Seung-yu joining?’ during our trips.”
She explained, “Since a cold in January, Seung-yu’s otitis media has lasted longer than expected, and he has been receiving steady treatment and check-ups for four months now.” She added, “Even a slight drop in his condition can worsen his runny nose, nasal congestion, and otitis media symptoms, so we decide on outings very carefully depending on the situation.”
“We love spending time as a family of four with Seung-yu and Chae-yu the most, but right now, Seung-yu’s health and condition are the top priority, so there are times he cannot join us,” she shared. She also revealed that the Busan trip, originally planned for three days and two nights, was shortened to two days and one night considering Seung-yu’s state.
Closing the video, Heizini said, “I know many of you love seeing our family of four together. I will do my best to show you more of our chaotic daily lives in the future.”
Meanwhile, Heizini married in 2018. She gave birth to her first daughter in 2023 and welcomed her second son last year.
