While “easy listening” is the current trend, there is one thing that never truly disappears from K-pop idols: the universe and the narrative. ENHYPEN stood at the center of this, proving it more intensely and concisely than ever on their latest stage.
It is no easy feat to blend a clear narrative, similar to a movie or musical, into a live performance. However, ENHYPEN, who have maintained their unique “vampire” identity since debut, completed this as one massive “Saga.”
The fourth world tour “Blood Saga,” held at Seoul’s KSPO Dome from May 1 to 3, was a project that structured the story of “blood and destiny” that forms ENHYPEN’s identity right on stage.
Under the theme “Blood destiny moving toward a future with you,” ENHYPEN shared “blood-boiling moments” with 32,250 fans, known as ENGENE, over three shows. The performance was particularly special for implementing a “dark fantasy movie” feel, divided into four chapters that flowed as one continuous story.

The first section, “Banish,” was ENHYPEN’s declaration to tear through the world’s oppression blocking their meeting and head toward “you.” Starting with a powerful appearance in “Knife,” they tore up the stage, followed by “Daydream,” “Outside,” and “Brought The Heat Back,” increasing the intensity from the very start.
In the second chapter, “Hideout,” they amplified ENGENE’s cheers with “Big Girls Don’t Cry” and “No Doubt,” then moved to a forest hideout for “Sleep Tight,” “Bills,” “Moon’s Truck,” and “Paranormal,” delivering lyrical emotions. This depicted a narrative of remembering “you” in a beautiful forest reached while tracing your footprints.
They then realized a “narrative of singing about a future together” with ENGENE through “Blockbuster” (where they ascended into the air), “All or Nothing” (perfecting the group dance), and “Future Perfect” (complete with a massive sing-along).

The highlight of the show was the third chapter, “Blood Saga.” In this section, ENHYPEN accepted their “blood destiny,” willingly bore the sin of love, and expressed the most vampire-like love.
Starting with the first-ever reveal of “Stealer” and continuing with representative hits “Drunk-Dazed” and “Bite Me,” this segment most deeply reflected ENHYPEN’s vampire concept.
A particularly stunning moment occurred when members woke up from coffins on stage immediately after a VCR sequence showing a vampire being chased and falling into water. It was enough to make the audience feel as if they had stepped into a massive vampire movie designed by ENHYPEN.
Leader Jungwon fully immersed himself in the lore, saying, “I’ve been fleeing for four months. I ran hard, but you eventually chased me all the way to KSPO Dome.” Sunoo agreed, adding, “Being chased was so hard,” guiding ENGENE deep into ENHYPEN’s own narrative.

The true highlight of the performance was undoubtedly the stage production. The effort put into visualizing a giant narrative was evident. The most standout point was the use of VCRs. Unlike typical K-pop shows that only insert bridge videos between sections, ENHYPEN placed transition videos and band arrangements that organically connected song to song.
Added to the cinematic quality of the videos, the band arrangements gave the narrative significant weight. With a mix of electronic sounds and a grand live session, it amplified the dark atmosphere unique to vampires and filled the massive space of the KSPO Dome.

The final chapter, “Lost Island,” ended with a lingering emotional resonance. The encore section followed the theme: “An unknown island reached at the end of the journey. A cry to rewrite our world with the belief that we are together.” “Lost Island,” “XO,” and “Shout Out” wrote the final page of the “blood narrative” through the harmony of ENHYPEN and ENGENE.

The members’ closing thoughts were heartfelt. This stage was even more meaningful as it took place at a turning point for the team. It was their first concert since reorganizing into a 6-member group following Heeseung’s departure, and their first time facing ENGENE after sweeping various awards last year.
Jay shared, “This tour feels different from the start. The attitude of both us and ENGENE is definitely different. I had worries while preparing, but now I feel relieved and rewarded. I’ll finish well and come back.” Jungwon emphasized, “I can say that yesterday and today were performances we approached with sincerity. All six members poured in 100 percent.” Ni-ki added, “I hope today brings happiness and strength for tomorrow to ENGENE.”

At a point where change and peak intersect, ENHYPEN chose narrative over instability. The “vampire universe” they’ve kept since debut was ultimately the right path. This “blood narrative” is now set to expand worldwide. After the final Seoul show on the 3rd, ENHYPEN begins a grand journey of 32 shows across 21 cities, covering South America, North America, Europe, and Asia.
