SNSD’s Sooyoung attempted a rebellion to snag the center spot for “Hyo-Ri-Soo,” but her plan ultimately failed.
On May 20, a new “Fake Kim Hyoyeon” video was released on the channel “Hyo’s Level Up” titled “Why are the producers distancing themselves now that the main vocal of Hyo-Ri-Soo is decided? Hyo-Ri-Soo Debut Project Episode 2.”
During the episode, Sooyoung made her plea, saying, “We didn’t actually have a public vote for the center, did we? I wonder if it’s right for Yuri to be the center. Honestly, I really want to do it.”
When Yuri pointed out that she stands out too much due to her height, Sooyoung argued, “It could be good for the balance. Since I’m the tallest, having me in the center can actually look more stable.”
However, Hyoyeon shut her down, saying, “If you’re in the middle, it looks like a swear word. People will just feel bad. We have to think about the viewers’ perspective.” Sooyoung didn’t give up, pointing out that Yuri as the center feels like “Do-Re-Mi” and seems unstable or descending, but Yuri ended the debate with a sharp “Still better than XX,” leaving everyone in laughter.
