Actor Kim Jung-tae’s eldest son, Ji-hoo, is proving his “genius son” status once again by showing off his impressive intellectual level and English skills!
In the upcoming episode of TV CHOSUN’s “Dad and I Season 3” airing on the 6th, the Kim Jung-tae family heads to Itaewon for Ji-hoo, who loves communicating with foreigners.
While visiting a restaurant in Itaewon, the family seemed nervous when a foreign staff member appeared, but Ji-hoo was a different story. He surprised everyone by chatting effortlessly and even cracking jokes with the staff.
Ji-hoo even caught the attention of his family by explaining international affairs after seeing CNN news on the restaurant’s TV. From the relationship between the US and Iran to politics, current events, and economic knowledge, Ji-hoo spoke fluently. He even made the set burst into laughter by worrying about the economy, saying, “Stocks dropped because of the US.” Watching this, MC Jun Hyun-moo remarked that the parents actually seem like the children, while Kim Jung-tae’s wife couldn’t stop admiring her son’s new side.
Meanwhile, a touching moving day will also be revealed. To support his children’s education and upbringing, Kim Jung-tae decided to leave his large home and move into a small studio apartment near Seoul. Although the family felt sad seeing the narrow room with its low ceiling, Kim Jung-tae showed his deep fatherly love as a “goose father” (a father living apart from his family), stating, “I can’t get exhausted now.” Ji-hoo also brought tears to the scene by sharing his heartfelt thoughts, saying, “I know how much Dad loves our family.”
You can catch the Kim Jung-tae family’s Itaewon outing and their emotional moving story on Wednesday the 6th at 10 PM on TV CHOSUN’s “Dad and I Season 3.”
