Lee Sang-yoon showed off his gentlemanly charms by giving up his train ticket to Lee Joo-bin, jokingly admitting he did it because they were filming.

In the May 26 episode of SBS’s ‘Beopryun Road: Monk and Guest’, Venerable Beopryun, Noh Hong-chul, Lee Sang-yoon, Lee Joo-bin, and Lee Ki-taek traveled from Kolkata to Bodh Gaya in India.

Since securing train tickets in India is quite a challenge, the ticket Venerable Beopryun managed to get only allowed one other person to join him. The journey takes 7 hours by train, compared to 12 hours by bus.

Noh Hong-chul initially wanted the ticket, calling it a “golden ticket” to spend one-on-one time with Venerable Beopryun. However, Lee Ki-taek showed thoughtfulness, saying, “As the youngest, I’ll go by car. I’ll be the first to give it up today.” Lee Sang-yoon also readily stepped aside, saying, “I’ll opt out too. For the lady and the monk.”

When a flustered Noh Hong-chul questioned, “You weren’t like this on the way here?” Lee Sang-yoon jokingly replied, “It’s because the cameras are rolling.” Eventually, Noh Hong-chul also gave up the ticket to Lee Joo-bin, acknowledging that she had already given up a trip to New York to participate.

Lee Joo-bin was thrilled, responding, “Then I’ll gladly take it. Thank you. I really wanted to ride the train!”
