Park Eun-bin on 'Wonderfools':

The production presentation for the Netflix series ‘Wonderfools’ was held on the morning of the 12th at the JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul. Director Yoo In-sik, along with actors Park Eun-bin, Choi Dae-hoon, Lim Sung-jae, Kim Hae-sook, Son Hyun-joo, Jung Yi-seo, Choi Yoon-ji, and Bae Na-ra, attended the event.

‘Wonderfools’ is a superpower comic adventure set at the end of the century in 1999, where neighborhood misfits who accidentally gain superpowers struggle to save the world against villains threatening peace.

Park Eun-bin explained her role, saying, “My character, Chaeni, is the precious but immature granddaughter of Grandma Kim Jeong-bok, who runs the most famous Keunson Restaurant in Haeseong City. I played a reckless and stubborn troublemaker who lives for today, feeling the need to say everything she wants to say right now.” She added, “Since she has never left Haeseong City, she is nicknamed the ‘troublemaker of Haeseong City.’ She lived like a local ghost until she suddenly gained the ability to teleport.”

Park Eun-bin continued, “This is my second time working with Director Yoo In-sik. I started this project because I really wanted to have fun. Above all, I thought the script was very whimsical when I first saw it.” She shared, “I chose this role because I felt I could have fun bringing this character to life. She is the simplest character I’ve ever played, and it was a very joyful experience. I think it will be fun if you follow Chaeni’s journey.”

Meanwhile, ‘Wonderfools’ will be released simultaneously worldwide on the 15th at 5 PM.
