Group VVUP took home the honor of winning at ‘ASEA 2026’!
The ‘3rd Asia Star Entertainer Awards 2026’ (ASEA 2026) was held on the afternoon of May 16 at the Belluna Dome in Saitama Prefecture, Japan.
VVUP has been on a continuous global rise since their 2024 debut with the first single ‘Doo Doom Chit’. Following that, they released the single ‘4 Life’ in January last year, ‘Giddy Boy’ in June, ‘House Party’ in October, and their first mini album ‘VVON’ in November. Their hard work paid off as they won the ‘ASEA HOT TREND’ award.
VVUP expressed their heartfelt gratitude to their fans, saying, “First of all, thank you so much for giving us such a wonderful award. We were able to receive this award thanks to everyone who has always supported us.” They also promised to continue growing into even more amazing artists.
‘ASEA 2026’ is an awards ceremony hosted by NEWSEN, Korea’s representative entertainment and sports media outlet celebrating its 21st anniversary, and @style, a star and style magazine celebrating its 14th anniversary, and is organized by the ASEA Organizing Committee.
