Actors Yoon Shi Yoon and Choi Jin Hyuk brought plenty of laughs as they revealed the “real” reasons they haven’t tied the knot yet.
In the May 15 episode of KBS2’s ‘Funstaurant’, Yoon Shi Yoon, Choi Jin Hyuk, and Yoo Seon Ho gathered at Kim Jae Joong’s home.
It was revealed that Kim Jae Joong, Yoon Shi Yoon, and Choi Jin Hyuk all share the same birth year, 1986.
However, there was a subtle hierarchy among them. Since Kim Jae Joong and Choi Jin Hyuk were born in January and February, while Yoon Shi Yoon was born in September, Yoon naturally called the other two “Hyung.” Even though Kim Jae Joong told him he could speak informally, Yoon firmly declined, sparking laughter by saying, “Being the younger one is an advantage in social life.”

With three unmarried men in their 40s gathered together, the conversation naturally turned to marriage. Choi Jin Hyuk honestly confessed, “My mom dislikes it when I meet girlfriends. I think she wants me to stay single.” Yoon Shi Yoon deeply empathized, adding, “My mom tells me to get married, but deep down, I think she dislikes the idea.” It turns out both are only children.

Yoon Shi Yoon shared a particularly funny anecdote from a past date. He recalled, “I asked my mom to drop me off in front of the station while riding in her car, but she just drove right past.” He continued, “My mom was sobbing while holding the steering wheel and just said, ‘I don’t know!'” describing his mother’s sadness at seeing her son head off to meet a girlfriend.

When the other cast members asked, “So you can’t get married because of your mothers?” Yoon Shi Yoon jokingly replied, “Actually, it’s because of my mom,” which led to Choi Jin Hyuk agreeing and bursting into laughter.
