Get ready, K-fans! On the 11th, (Su) Company, the production powerhouse behind the upcoming play ‘Oedipus,’ dropped the exciting main cast lineup! This highly anticipated show is set to kick off on July 3 at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts M Theater.

Taking on the iconic role of Oedipus are none other than Choi Soo Jong and Yang Jun Mo! Fans are buzzing because Choi Soo Jong, beloved for his incredible portrayals of historical figures in dramas, is making a grand return to the stage after a whopping nine years! His last play was ‘The Story of Ms. Seonnyeo Who Couldn’t Go to Heaven’ back in 2017. Everyone’s super curious to see how he’ll bring the tragic King of Thebes, Oedipus, to life!

Meanwhile, Yang Jun Mo is set to deliver an explosive and deeply emotional performance, diving into the complex inner world of the tragic hero, Oedipus. Known for his powerful stage presence in musicals, his unique interpretation of Oedipus promises to captivate audiences with a fresh perspective!

The stellar cast continues with Seo Young Hee and Im Kang Hee taking on the pivotal role of Jocasta, Oedipus’s queen and a key figure in the tragedy. Guiding the narrative as the Chorus Leader will be Im Byung Geun and Lee Hyung Hoon. For the roles of the ‘Corinthian Messenger’ and ‘Tiresias,’ veteran actors Nam Myung Ryul and Park Jung Ja have been cast. And that’s not all! Kang Sung Jin and Choi Soo Hyung will portray ‘Creon,’ while Oh Chan Woo and Na Ja Myung will double as the ‘Corinthian Messenger’ and ‘Tiresias,’ rounding out this absolutely stacked cast!
