Seo Jang-hoon's Heartfelt Plea to a Wife Teaching Her Children Hatred on 'Divorce Meditation Camp'

Seo Jang-hoon shared some heartfelt advice with a wife who was speaking negatively about her husband to their children.

In the 86th episode of JTBC’s ‘Divorce Meditation Camp’ aired on the 14th, the remaining story of the ‘Addiction Couple,’ the final pair of the 21st batch, was revealed.

Viewers were left shocked by a video from the husband’s perspective, which showed the wife instilling hostility toward the father by even asking the children to film their parents’ fights.

Everyone on set was speechless after seeing the children’s attitude toward their father, leading Seo Jang-hoon to eventually stop the video. He then gave the wife sincere advice for the sake of both her and the children, stating, “You must not teach children hatred.”

A subsequent video from the wife’s perspective revealed the husband’s gambling addiction. Due to his gambling, the couple had lost all their assets and were buried in debt. The shock deepened as it was revealed that the husband caused disturbances at home and even assaulted his wife after losing money. After watching the footage, Seo Jang-hoon was left speechless by the couple’s surreal situation, remarking, “It feels like they are in another universe,” leaving the investigation room in a heavy silence.

The couple later received a solution from counselor Lee Ho-sun. Lee pointed out that the children were actually taking care of their mother and offering her alcohol to calm her anger, criticizing the wife for destroying both her motherhood and the children’s innocence.

The counseling session was even interrupted when it was discovered that the husband had been gambling right up until the filming and had asked his wife to cover for him. However, Lee Ho-sun resumed the session for the sake of the children, recommending abstinence from alcohol for the wife and gambling addiction treatment for the husband. Lee strongly advised that if the husband cannot quit gambling, they must divorce.

The final adjustment process for the 21st batch of couples will be revealed on JTBC’s ‘Divorce Meditation Camp’ on Thursday the 21st at 10:30 PM.
